I guess I should have expected it but Sansar was starting to show some promise because regular users were starting to have an influence. There was at least a faint glimmer of hope. Then true to form Linden Lab shoots itself in the foot with its new Sansar Store policies.
If you want a virtual world to develop you don’t discriminate against your users. The overly long restriction to only some chosen few were bad enough. It seemed LL had realized the folly of their ways-WRONG.
I agree with the person on the Discord server who said “I’m starting to see…a message behind the decision : “If you are not confident that you will sell enough to afford the subscription, then you are not good enough, go away.”” I think people will !
Reblogged this on Thar She Blows! and commented:
Willow was cautiously hopeful for a reasonably cool future for Project Sansar. Obviously her tender hopes were trampled by the usual stupids of The Lab. 😦
